Dogs the same like a human show preferenve for one side of their body over the other which is linked to use the left and right hemispheres of their brains. The right hemisphere controls the left side of the body and the left hemisphere controls the right side.The left hemisphere is activated when dogs brain processing positive emotions such a happiness,excitment and effection. The right hemisphere takes over when dog is processing sadness or fear.
Paw preference

Science shows that paw preference is close connected to emotional and behaviour. The right paws preference dogs are more able confronting new einverment and situations.The left paws preference dogs may show signs of aggression more easily than the right paw dogs.
