Have you ever seen that guilty look in your dog when he destroys your favorite shoes or when he sits in the bathroom with toilet paper strewn all over the floor?
You may notice that your dog has his eyes raised, his head down, his body lowered and even sometimes his head turned to the side and then you think oh my god, my dog feels guilty…but is it true?

Well..We all know that dogs feel joy and happiness, sadness but to have or feel guilt? guilt is more complicated. To feel guilty our dearest companion must be aware of how his behavior affects others.
Until now, it is believed that dogs do not have this ability to really understand how their behavior affects us. However, dogs are very intelligent and can read our body language. Dogs respond to our actions. Unfortunately, dogs are not able to understand that we are angry because they destroyed our favorite chair.
