Meeting many dog owners every day and listening to their daily stories, I have realised that many of us would like our pets to behave like robots. We want our dogs to walk without a leash by our side in public, to greet and play with every dog they meet, to enjoy sitting quiet under a table for 3 hours in a restaurant and to not growl when we disturb them while they are eating or sleeping. Our expectations became so high that we are surprised when dogs act like dogs.
Dogs only do what is useful for their survival at the moment. There is not such thing like good and bad behaviour.
DO DOGS FEEL GUILT?
Have you ever seen that guilty look in your dog when he destroys your favorite shoes or when he sits in the bathroom with toilet paper strewn all over the floor?
Did you know that the way your dog wag his tail, smell the object or play with his toys link to his emotional state?
Did you know that dogs offer each other gestures of goodwill when they meet? Every dog meeting is unique and depends about sex, age, experience and also personality of the dog but here I’ll describe how a perfect “dog meeting” should go:
DO DOGS DREAM?
Have you ever wondered if dogs dream?
The answer is simple: yes.
Dogs not only dream like us, but they dream just like us, meaning that they recreate moments from the whole day when they sleep.
What’s even more interesting is that the position in which your dog sleeps can say a lot about his well-being.

CAN DOGS FEEL JEALOUS?
Have you ever greeted your family member with a tight hug and heard telltale whining as your dog insinuates himself into your hug? Does Dog in your lap growl when another person walks by? Does your pooch suddenly become more interested in his playthings or meals in the presence of another pet? Does that mean that our companion can also feel complex emotions such as jealousy?
Are you a dog owner? How often have you heard the term “pack leader”?
Have you ever wondered if your dog loves you? Does he feel guilty after tearing up your favorite shoes? Can your dog be mad at you? Or how to speak dog?
